Dr. Lisa Selem originates from Lawrenceville, Georgia. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Selem attended the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where she received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and graduated with honors. She then practiced general dentistry for two years in the Atlanta area but ultimately decided that endodontics was her calling.
Dr. Selem completed her specialty training in endodontics from Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia. Her research on endodontic filling materials has been published in the Journal of Endodontics, on which she has served on the Scientific Advisory Board, and the Journal of Dentistry.
Dr. Selem is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontics, the Georgia Association of Endodontists, and the Georgia Dental Association.
Dr. Selem is dedicated to providing the highest quality endodontic treatment while focusing on alleviating her patients’ pain and fear. After practicing endodontics in Houston for the past several years, she is pleased to return home to Georgia along with her husband Alex and their two young sons Cameron and Elliott.
