
Dr. Jason Ames

Dr. Ames grew up in Liburn, Georgia and attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He worked as a technology consultant in Atlanta for several years prior to dental school at The Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Ames made the commitment to further develop his skills and knowledge by completing two additional years of training in the Endodontic residency program at The Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Ames is a clinical assistant professor at The Dental College of Georgia, Endodontic department. He is an active member of the Forsyth County Rotary Club, Georgia Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Hinman Dental Society. Dr. Ames and his family cherish living in and being part of the local Cumming community. He and his wife Carmen are often seen chasing their two rascal sons, Jase and Zach.

Dr. Susie Koagel
Endodontist
Dr. Susie Koagel grew up in a military family and lived in North Carolina, Korea, Japan, and Alabama. She attended college at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina obtaining her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. Following her father's footsteps, who had served over 20 years in the Army as a helicopter pilot, Dr. Koagel was commissioned in the US Army. She attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
After obtaining her dental degree, Dr. Koagel completed a 1 year Advanced General Dental residency at Ft. Lewis, WA where she realized her love for endodontics. She completed her endodontic specialty training at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She was then stationed at Ft. Bliss, TX and Ft. Benning, GA. After 10 years in the active Army, Susie transitioned to serve part time as a Major in the Georgia National Guard. Susie along with her husband and her 3 children are pleased to have made Georgia their home. When she is not practicing endodontics she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.

Dr. Lisa Selem
Endodontist
Dr. Lisa Selem originates from Lawrenceville, Georgia. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Selem attended the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where she received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and graduated with honors. She then practiced general dentistry for 2 years in the Atlanta area but ultimately decided that Endodontics was her calling. Dr. Selem completed her specialty training in Endodontics from Georgia Regents University in Augusta, GA. Her research on endodontic filling materials has been published in both the Journal of Endodontics as well as the Journal of Dentistry and she has served on the Scientific Advisory Board for the Journal of Endodontics. Dr. Selem is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontics, the Georgia Association of Endodontists, and the Georgia Dental Association.
Dr. Selem is dedicated to providing the highest quality endodontic treatment while focusing on alleviating her patients’ pain and fear. After practicing Endodontics in Houston, TX for the past several years, she is pleased to return home to Georgia along with her husband, Alex, and their two young sons, Cameron and Elliott.

Dr. Christian Dahl

Dr. Christian Dahl grew up in Alpharetta, GA. He earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from Kennesaw State University. He then attended the Dental College of Georgia where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While practicing as a General Dentist in private practice, Dr. Dahl was also adjunct clinical faculty at the Dental College of Georgia where he covered the Emergency Dental Clinic. Dr. Dahl completed his specialty training in Endodontics at the Dental College of Georgia. He has published research in the Journal of Dentistry. Following his training, he now practices in Gainesville Georgia and has returned to serve as adjunct faculty for the Endodontic residency at the Dental College of Georgia. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, and the Georgia Dental Association. Dr. Dahl and his Wife love to take their dogs on long hikes in the North Georgia mountains.
